During the construction of the Pauline chapel and the Bishop's Palace, it became necessary to remove Mgr. Antoine Racine's body that was buried under the sanctuary of the old cathedral. In a letter to the clergy, dated 24 November 1919, Mgr. LaRocque writes : « With the greatest care and according to all the rules of the Provincial Bureau of Hygiene, I had a tomb built in which the body of Mgr. Racine will be put to rest. This entombment will be preceded by a solemn service celebrated in the Pauline chapel on 3 December, at 9 o'clock. All the priests of the diocese are cordially invited to this funeral ceremony ».
